B&R 6 - Cannot connect to the host's admin share

Post by michaelc10 »

Hi,

I have an intermittent issue within the environment we have. the simplified version is that we have multiple subnets with firewalls between each and multiple AD forests. Veeam server is 2003R2 and the source machines are generally 2008R2. Normally everything works as expected however we get the below error on a regular basis on different machines that have had previously successful operations without any configuration changes. We can workaround this issue by disabling UAC, allowing the job to run once which is 95% successful and then turn UAC back on. This is not really a scenario we want to continue with so I was hoping for some insight into how others have setup for this scenario. We have tried this with a remote and local source proxy and the same issue occurs.

Running Veeam 6 Patch 1

Win32 error:No network provider accepted the given network path. Code: 1203 Cannot connect to the host's administrative share

Thanks in advance!
