No verification Email

Greetings,

First, sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong category. I haven't found one that's suitable for my issue.

I'm trying to upgrade my Community B&R solution to the latest version as my windows backup stopped working.
To download the patch, I need to verify my account. However, I did not receive emails from VEEAM.

As such, I can't open a support ticket, because my account isn't verified.

What can I do to resolve this issue?

Did you check your anti-spam filter? Probably, the message is in spam/junk folder of your mailbox?

I've checked my spam folder. All the usual in it, but no sign of a VEEAM email.

Are you using a gmail or another public domain for your account? If yes, you cannot use it for veeam:

I'm using my personal email that has this format : @surnamename.fr

Why would I need a corporate / business email for a community version of Veeam? This does not make sense.

I'll just download the whole B&R iso again...

This has been a requirement for a while: to receive support including patches and updates you need to register with non-private email addresses. This applies to owners of Community Edition as well. Thank you for your understanding!

I understand.

Still, that would be a problem if I was my own employer using the same email I'm using now.

I can't remember if it was mentioned somewhere when I registered, but VEEAM should not say that it email you to verify your account if it can't, in fact, email you.
