Mounting NFS in Veeam

In my setup i have a Windows10 Pro UK as Veeam Server - and the storage/repos on a Synology DS918+

But I cannot add the NFS share in veeam - just saying the hosts isn't available.

NFS Server is unavailable, or the specific share cannot be accessed

Then I did some digging into and found out that the share actually is working when mounting from CMD line - which is no problem - so I know the share is working:

The command completed successfully.

Should I not be able to use a NFS share as repos directly under Backup Infrastructure/Backup repositories - instead of the SMB share I have to the same folder now ( but after 2x cyptolocker attack inside hostincenter) I want to secure as much as possible - thats why I want to use NFS instead of SMB/CIFS

Any advise ideas are welcome

Can you please make sure that you specify path to the NFS share in a proper format "server:/folder" on this step of the wizard?

For anyone else who found this thread looking for a solution, we ran into the same thing. For us it was just a typo in that NFS is case sensitive. We had the "V" in volume capitalized.
