Keeping existing VBK/VBR

Post by GhengisEEK »

I see in the current 3.0 version you cannot edit your jobs to a new target folder... However, can you move your VBK/VBR's to a new folder, and create a new job to use them? I know when I create the job it complains a VBK already exists..

Why? I've got a new storage array and want to keep my current backups and not lose them... the current storage they are on is going away.
Should the TARGET FOLDER be setup as shared folder? i.e. Map a drive letter to a local folder?

Hello Jeff, this is how you should be able to do this with 3.0
