File Level Restore with VIX error

Hello Every one

we have an isolated network for backup and backup infrastructure does not connect to the internal network. as a result we cannot use RPC as guest level processing and should use VIX.
we use a local admin account in the backup job and test account and RPC failed but VIX was successful. but when we want to restore the file os, we get the error "unable to establish a connection with VM check credential and try again"

this is hard to troubleshoot without more details.
Did you already create a Case at Veeam Support?
If not, please do so and share the Case ID here.

Furthermore, are you talking about file level recovery, right? not application item recovery?

When you say Administrator, do you mean "Administrator" spelled in that way, or a administrator?

we use:

Hostname\administrator
Hostname\Administrator

should we disable UAC?

Usually hostname\administrator (non key sensitive) should work with UAC enabled.
Please open a support case and let our team have a look.

Built-in account should work with UAC enabled. Could you please try to disable UAC to check if it is the cause of the failure?

Just in case... UAC changes need a mandatory reboot. Did you disable UAC and then reboot the server?
