Wasabi Cost Estimation

I'm trying to work out how much it would cost to use Wasabi in a scale-out repository, but I'm not sure how best to do that given Wasabis 90 day minimum retention. From my understanding, this means I'll be paying for the backups that are currently stored, as well as the last 90 days worth of backups that will be charged as 'Timed Deleted Storage".

Currently I'm using local storage with a backup copy job to a fixed cloud storage repository. I'm backing up 4 VMs with a 14 day retention period. These are incremental backups each day with a full backup every Saturday. Full backups are about 585GB and incremental backups average 40GB.

Can anyone tell me how best to calculate the cost of storing this in Wasabi given their $5.99/TB cost and 90 minimum retention?

recently someone posted that you can lower the minimum retention to 30 days

14 day retention period.

even with 30 days minimum retention, that makes little sense on Wasabi. I would consider a different provider.

Full backup every Sunday is irrelevant for Veeam (we upload "incremental forever"). Just use 585+(40x13)

What makes you say it makes little sense to use Wasabi though?

requiring 14 days and paying for 30 days makes no sense in my personal opinion. but yes, if paying for 30 days is less expensive than paying for 14 days at a different provider, then it makes sense (I did not compare pricing with other cloud storage providers)
