Exclude Objects from Backup Job - How to identify drives?

However, I don't see any explanation for how to identify drives. How am I to know what drives IDE (0:0), IDE (0:1), IDE (1:0), IDE (1:1) these refer to?

This IDs are the virtual disk scsi IDs. You can see this IDs in the vm properties in the vcenter or esxi webgui.
Here are two explanations how you can match the id to a disk inside your windows vm.

Sure enough, in the VM properties in vSphere, I was able to expand the dropdown for each drive and see what the IDs were. In my case, SCSI(0,0) SCSI(0,1) and SCSI(0,2). In the Veeam job, I was then able to specify that I only wanted to back up SCSI(0,0) and SCSI(0,1). SCSI(0,2) has MOSTLY junk files that are not needed. To keep the couple folders that are needed, I will set up a daily XCOPY script to copy the folders to one of the drives that does get backed up.
