We have an Azure databricks workspace in the same subscription as VMs protected by Backup for Azure, which creates worker VMs that appear in Veeam ONE protection reports (I'm not sure when they're created or how long they stay online for, someone else manages the databricks workspace), but consistently 2 of them with random names will appear in our unprotected VMs list
The resource ID is /subscriptions/<sub-id>/resourcegroups/<databricks-workspace-rg>/providers/microsoft.compute/virtualmachines/<random-id> so obviously they look like a standard VM resource, but the 2 machine IDs are different every day, and exclusions in the report only appear to apply to the VM resource name, not the whole resource ID (I tried excluding *databricks-workspace-rg*)
Is there some other exclusion option I can use here?

Re: Azure VM Protection report exclusions
Hi Derek,
What names do those VMs usually have? Could you please provide us with a few examples?
Thanks

Re: Azure VM Protection report exclusions
Hi Fedor,
I believe they are completely random, the two in today's report were bb4d054ff74c4b4d9df07d7013f8ad0f and de5451b0356647248894311d30c59e8f
A few days they were 240623c674264210a774b616d90d2983 and d0e661bca7fc48fab10acf4e7e46297d

Re: Azure VM Protection report exclusions
Hi Derek,
Thanks for returning back with additional information.
Currently, there is no convenient option to exclude these VMs from the report, but we'll see what we can do to cover this scenario in the future.
