Veeam Backup Essentials 9.0 installation media

Hi all,

for our customer which uses vSphere/ESXi 5.5 we need installation media of Veeam Backup Essentials 9.0 (because old backup server crashed), however I cannot find download link for it. Current Veeam version 11 cannot backup virtual machines from Vmware 5.5. Is there anybody who knows where to download it, or who can upload 9.0 media anywhere? Upgrading vSphere is not an option here.

Backup job 'ABC' finished with Failed. Job details: Processing DEF Error: Current vSphere license or ESXi version prohibits execution of the requested operation.

and license is ok.

Your download link is for Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5, not for Veeam Backup Essentials 9.0.

It looks like your esxi host has only a free esxi license installed. Using Veeam to backup vms on image level requires a paid vsphere license on the esxi host. Only paid licenses has the necessary APIs activated.

If you don‘t have a paid vsphere license, you can use Veeam Agents to backup your vms.

Thanks, it is possible, I will check it soon. However, it should be better to have older & less-demanding & 100% compatible version 9.

Mildur is right, the error above was caused by wrong Vmware license. Anyway, I am still interested in possible version 9 download...
