Limitation of concurrent tasks is not supported for vCD backup jobs

Hello Everyone

We are having a some strange issues with our VCD environment during backup our window VCD 10.2.2.1a & Veeam 11a (latest) . I was reviewing the Veeam docs again and I noticed "Limitation of concurrent tasks is not supported for vCD backup jobs" in the "performing backup of vcloud vms" and repository settings section. Is this a new change to Veeam's latest builds since I never noticed this before. Is there anything we should be aware is a large VCD environment.

The VCD environment runs at really high cpu and the VCD database server is getting slammed durring peak of backup.

what does Veeam support say about that issue? Case number? When did this high load start?

I did not ask the documentation team yet, but I remember a forum thread in the service provider forums that might be related to the documentation change. The software itself did not change if my guess is right.

The text is strange, as vCD jobs do support limiting concurrent tasks. Currently we are investigating the reason for this change with the technical writers. I will keep you updated. Thanks!

Thank you for the replies. I haven't open at ticket yet since we are investigating our environment first before opening a support case. Waiting to hear back about your discussion with the tech writers

Сoncurrent task limit does not take into account slots occupied for processing vApp metadata (cause they bring negligible processing load), while it does that for VM processed within vApp. We will correct the documentation soon.
