I know that's what the words on the page say, but I'm sure I've been provided hot fixes before when I was on the Community Education for VBO. I did have a license for 3 years, but as I only need it for 5 users I dropped down to CE a while ago.

I just received the private fix from support and everything is fine now. CPU usage for the Veeam.Archiver.Service.exe is down to 0% when idle.
That's great, i'll wait untill next week so we can make sure before upgrading production.
V5 is also using almost no CPU when idle so this is great news.
You can open a case even with the CE, and support will be provided on the best effort basis. Please post your case ID here, and I'll make sure you get the hotfix.
1) @MILJW002, I have to correct myself (apologies) - according to our policies, support can only provide fixed to customers who are on a current paid maintenance. So, as Fedor suggested above, please either re-deploy the previous version (5d) or wait for the next cumulative patch that is expected in about 2 weeks.
2) As I see, cases 05340751 and 05340793 are already closed and the hotfix has been provided. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.
I just received a mailing that v6 is available and you can download it. It seems though that the buildnumber is the same, so it looks like the fix for high CPU is not included in this version. Why send a mailing out to all customers when there's a known issue in it for which is a fix is available?
The issue is not critical, it doesn't impact product operations and the GA build is not and will not be recalled. The hotfix is available upon request for those who need it.
We're already working on the next cumulative patch and will notify users about its availability as well.
As I see, your case was open just recently, and our engineer is already in contact with you. If there're any delays or issues in your communication with Veeam support, let me know.
