Veeam Backup with HPe Simplivity Best practice

Post by Novell2 »

Hi, on a Hyperconverged HPe Simplivity infrastructre the Veeam Backup are slow. alle the NIC's are with 10Gb also to the Veeam Backup server. I am looking for a document best practice to increase the backup performance. In a Veeam View what is the best?

Thanks for an answer!

Best regards

Hi, the best way to protect workloads on SimpliVity is to use Network Mode, simply because of the way VM data is distributed across their nodes. If Veeam is virtual you may need to force this in the proxy settings. If physical, it should be doing this by default. Here is the official best practices document for Veeam with SimpliVity - https://h20195.www2.hpe.com/v2/Getdocum ... skiphtml=1.
