Linux Repository deployment

Hi,

Trying to deploy a repository on a SLES 15 SP5 VM (using Veeam B&R v11), I'm getting a "no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it...." during the Testing Veeam Data Mover service step.

Any idea what could be wrong ?

Hi Eric

SLES 15 SP5 is not listed as supported OS for backup repositories. Only SLES 11 SP4, 12 SP1-SP5, 15 SP0-SP2, and SP3. Supported OS.
Are you talking about SLES 12 SP5? I can‘t find a release of SLES 15 SP5.

Make sure the firewall on the linux server is configured for the rights ports.

Backup Respository Connections

If firewall is open and you can‘t deploy the backup repository, please open a support case as requested when you created this topic. Technical issues always need a support case. Veeam support will be able to tell you exactly why it is not working.

For SLES SP3, please upgrade to V11a.
V11a (11.0.1.1261) is needed for os support of SLES 15 SP3.

I just checked: I'm actually using v11a.
I guess I'll open a support case next week.

Yes, in that case, veeam support is the best way to resolve it.
