Unable to restore because of running Backup

Hey VEEAM,

we are unable to restore VM during running Backups. The AHV Cluster has over 25 Nodes and runs over 700 VMs (also in Backup). The Proxy is designed to work 20 Jobs in Parallel. Because of the restriction of running only ONE Proxy per Cluster - the Backup need long time.
While backup is running, all 20 Slots are blocked and we cannot do restore during this time to the Cluster.
Canceling a Job need also a lot of time.
So, on important restores, we disabled all jobs and restart the Proxy what will terminate all running jobs. Then we can start a restore and restart backup. But this cannot be a solution...

Hello ARO,
I am aware that current improvements are happening for backing up AHV, toy can take a look at the VeeamON session if you want to know more.

Meanwhile, if you an please open a support ticket and letting us to case number, we can see internally how our Engineers troubleshoot the issue with the logs, they can escalate to RnD if something needs to be fix, ask for Hotfixes if required, etc.
