Monitoring backup Jobs

Hello,
we are using PRTG as our monitoring software. But I'm pretty sure this applies to many out there who use differed systems too.
We would like to monitor our Jobs in Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365. We are monitoring our Veeam Backup & Replica installation with a PowerShell Script which works like a charm.
I know you can send mails with the status within Veeam, but this is not practical since we have potential hundreds of Mails coming in from other software’s too.
Can some tell me if there is a good way to monitor Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365? Thanks

Already replied on the other topic You can use logs, windows events, or API to send it to Splunk, example with Grafana https://grafana.com/grafana/dashboards/11286

Take that script and instead sending it to InfluxDB, write to Splunk API and that's it.

@erbinb Could you clarify which logging you exactly need within Splunk? Are we talking backup/restore jobs or application logs?

What is the information that you are looking for?

• Job Policies Last Status
• Job Policies last transferred data
• Any Infrastructure data required like used space, etc?
• You mentioned Backup and Restore Logs, is it Restoring Audit required?

We would like to understand a bit more about the exact information you would expect, so we can link to the better way to achieve it, either by Windows Logs, or Windows Events, PowerShell, or API.

We use home written powershell script to pull out info to send to zabbix. Monitor stuff such as job status, repository space etc.
