We have a standalone LTO8 drive and would prefer that Veeam does NOT automatically eject the tape when it's full.
Our preference is that the person going on-site can manually eject the tape.
The reason is that on some occasions the tape job should not have filled the tape and we'd like to redo the tape job without going on-site to reinsert the tape.
Hope there's a registry key that can be set to stop this auto-eject on full behavior.
Thanks!
Marc

Re: V11 LTO8 Tape - How to stop auto eject on full?
Hello Marc,
Is that a standalone drive or tape library? Can you please clarify what eject options are set in your backup job? Thank you!

Re: V11 LTO8 Tape - How to stop auto eject on full?
Hi Dima,
This is a brand new standalone LTO8 tape drive.
The tape backup job's options has the default "Ejected tape media upon job completion" still unchecked.
Note that this Options setting pertains to "job completion", I'm looking to stop Veeam from ejecting when a "tape is full" but the job is still in progress.
Thanks,
Marc
