Generate VBM File Powershell Command: New-VBRBackupMetadata
The main problem is that we need this to work on a shared repository that includes encryption !
At this time the data set is too large to move to another location without investing in a lot of new harware and the time to copy 167Tb of data is quite substantial and will impact systems while working...
Another thing to mention is that the job did include 3 servers...
You can see the notes on this case under Case #05442434 — Offsite Dataset of 167tb in ScaleOut Repo
Thanks in advance !!!

Re: Generate VBM File for ScaleOut Encrypted Repo Storage
Hello,
and welcome to the forums.
By the way: how did it happen, that you lost your VBM files?
Best regards,
Hannes
and welcome to the forums.
is my understanding correct, that we talk about cloud connect, or are you really sharing a repository (which type?) between different backup servers? In any case, that cmdlet should only be used together with support, so I can hardly say something about it. As far as I understood support, there is also an open feature request on your topic (no change in foreseeable future)to work on a shared repository
