Keep seed job after inital replication completes

I was wondering if it necessary to keep the seed backup job after the initial replication completes? Also is it possible to create a new seed job to add additional VMs to the existing replication job?

No, it is not necessary to keep the seed backup after successful replication job pass. And yes, it should be possible to add VMs to existing job via new seed file.
