Can not backup Nutanix files using Veeam File Share

Hi,

I have a fresh Nutanix files ad VBR installed.

I am trying to add "File Share" from Veeam but shows the following error.

Please note that i also have Nutanix MINE.

So i am adding the file share from the VBR server which is on windows.

and welcome to the forums.

I can only repeat what support already said: looks like wrong permissions on the share, which are outside Veeam scope. To verify, I can only recommend to use a 3rd party NFS client. Windows has the NFS client feature built-in (it just needs to be enabled), but also other NFS clients exist. Nutanix Mine and "plain" VBR are the same software from a Veeam perspective.

As you asked the question to support: technically you can also mount that share to any Linux server. Then this Linux server can be added to the inventory and be used as a NAS backup source. I personally would prefer to solve the access issue. NFS 3 and 4.1 is supported. Kerberos with 4.1 is unsupported.
