[Feature Request] Azure Account Permissions Rescan
Hi,
Issue/Scenario:
Having updated to VBfMA v4, I got the notification that 16 permissions were missing, this was of course expected, but what I didn't expect was that even after renewing the application (and manually confirming the permissions had taken effect), the notification didn't clear.
This feels strange to me because I personally didn't want to dismiss the notification, in the event I hadn't assigned the permissions, but I also had checked and could see I had allocated them.
Proposed Improvement:
It would be handy if, after renewing the application, a rescan took place that then cleared the missing permissions notification automatically, or a follow up notification was displayed to say the alert was cleared/resolved etc.
It would also be handy if there was a call to action within the alert to trigger a rescan, if you amended the permissions manually, I know I personally would want to see confirmation from the application it now had all of the required permissions.
Thanks!

Hi Michael,
Makes sense, I will pass this to the RnD team.
Thanks!

Got same "error" after upgrading to v4.
Possible to provide a script that we can run to check if permissions are correct after we changed the permissions on each account?

Hi Peter,
Do you mean to run the script in Azure or initiate the check what's missing in the VB itself?
Thanks!

If its not possible currently elsewhere to check if permissions is setup correct in the Azure Subscription for each customer, then I think it would be nice with a powershell script or something that we can run on each subscription to check (and maybe set) the currect permissions.
Best solution would be a "rescan permission check" inside the VB GUI.
Hope this is possible "ASAP"

Peter, if you renew the application using the VB UI, then all necessary permissions should be set automatically. Have you tried doing that?
