Free of charge?
Folks,
I got an email today saying that the New Azure Backup is generally available, and it talks about "the FREE edition". Is Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure v4 free of charge if you have a license for B&R?

Re: Free of charge?
Hi PJ
It's free, as long you don't connect the appliance to your VBR server. If you connect your VBA instance to a VBR server, VBR licensing will be used.
Socket licensing - You must add VULs to the VBR server or the free complementary licenses will be used.
VUL licensing - Instances of your VUL will be used.
Thanks
Fabian

Re: Free of charge?
Hi,
You can find all details about versions and editions on the Veeam Backup for Azure page under Pricing and packaging.
You can back up 10 virtual machines with the free edition and get basic support. If you have more than 10 virtual machines, a license should be used which can be a BYOL or VUL license.

Re: Free of charge?
Just to clarify, when you say 10 virtual machines, you mean 10 virtual AZURE machines?
