Feature Request : Backup Speed Indication

Post by TrevorBell »

Morning All,

I have a request its not show stopper but maybe others will find this useful aswell,

When i have a backup job running the stat columns i can see are NAME TYPE STATUS LAST RESULT NEXT RUN TARGET HOST TARGET FOLDER OBJECTS IN JOB

It would be great if JOB SPEED could be added as this way when im at home and remote in to look at the backups i can see the speed of the backups... I know if i click on the job i can see the speed but this way its visible from the first screen...all info you need to see at a glance kind of thing

not real big deal but just something esle to keep VB the forefront of Vmware backups

Thanks

Trev

Hello Trevor et al. We are about to make this change, and to avoid introducing extra column that will be empty and useless when job is not running, would it be OK to instead put the speed information into the Status column like that:

Code: Select all

10% completed at 120MB/s
