Confirmed bug: " (retry n)" appended to job name in result email

Post by AlexHeylin »

This was confirmed as a bug as part of case 05444422 ..."has been confirmed to be a bug and a solution is being worked on."

I was expecting this would be resolved by the current release as it's only text, and should not have been changed in the first place - so it's only find the commit and reverse the text change.
However this is still occurring in the latest release build 6.1.0.254 P20220825

Is there an ETA for this? Just want to make sure it's not missed.

Thanks

Hi Alex

I checked the internal case notes and it looks like the plan is to fix it with V7.

Thanks

Hi Alex,

This bug is in a fixed state and the fix will be included in the next major product version.
I fully understand your point on the easy label fix, but normally such minor changes are not included in patches. On the contrary, we consider patches as more important and more urgent fixes to help our customers avoid major problems.

Thanks!
