Can I backup a VM that is part of a Microsoft cluster?

Hello,
I guess you're talking about Windows Server Failover Cluster. Anyway, the answer is yes, you can back up any VM that allows creating a snapshot at the level of vSphere. If snapshot creation is not possible, you may consider backup using Veeam agents.
