edit SOBR/capacity tier warning threshold

Post by mcz »

Hi everyone,

is there a certain RegKey to manipulate the warning threshold when the object storage reaches its capacity? In my case it warns below 10 %, but there might me many TB of free space left, so no need to warn there in my case...

Thanks!

Hi Michael

Have you tried the global setting for backup storage notifications?
10% is the default for warning about backup repositories.

Thanks

Yeah I know about that global repository settings - but I'd love to control the capacity tier seperately. Because you could have 50 TB object storage for the capacity and on-prem probably only 10. So 10 % is in one case 5 TB and in the other 1 TB...

Can you tell us more about your setup? Are you limiting the object storage repository consumption using the corresponding checkbox?

Yeah, that's correct, Vladimir, I am limiting the object storage consumption via that checkbox.
