Unable to Complete Modern Auth Account Creation due to legacy auth check

With O365 no longer allowing legacy auth, I'm working on creating/configuring a modern auth account. I've gone through Veeam's documentation for service account configuration and am at the point of service/authentication confirmation but getting stuck there because the legacy auth check fails. With the auth check failing, the "Finish" button remains gray and I cannot proceed. I'm running Veeam for O365 v4 and have no found away around the legacy auth check in configuring the new modern auth acct. Would upgrading to v6 solve this issue? Specific check failure errors below. Appreciate any help!

Service account check failures:
- Sharepoint Online Administrator Role - Role is not assigned
- LegacyAuthProtocolsEnabled: The Remote Server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized
- Connect to EWS: The request failed with HTTP status 401:

Hi Hans

Welcome to the forum.
Modern Only Auth support with disabled basic auth was added in version 4c (build 4.0.1.519). I assume, you run an older build.

Please update to V6a.

VB365 is a client for accessing a cloud service and therefore should be updated regularly.

I just have one thing to add to Fabian’s response here, you’re on v4, not sure if you’re aware but v4 goes end of support in November, so you really need to get updating. I’m not talking patching as it stopped getting patches December 2020, I’m talking about any support from Veeam.

Thank you both. Figured updating to v6 was the solution tho wanted to confirm before plunging into upgrades and SaaS cost approvals.
