Configure NetApp Snapshot Name

When using storage snapshots with a NetApp storage array, it would be beneficial to us if we could set the name of the snapshots on the NetApp that Veeam creates. Right now it seems to use the name of the job and the date/time the snapshot was created. Is there any way to configure the system to use a custom name for the NetApp snapshots?

Today there is no way to define the snapshot name for BfSS and snapshot only. As you said it’ll be generated by the job names.
You can only set your own name when manually creating the snap.
I’ll track your request as an improvement request.
