VeeamBackupReporting database

Post by AlexL »

I found a database with this name on one of our SQL servers, no connection existed, I've looked in various tables but it seems all old data (newest is jan 2011). Is this database probably a remnant from our v4.x installation? I've taken the database offline and all still seems well.

Alex, this is an Enterprise Manager's database actually, maybe from your old installation (as per the records timestamps).

yeah, I thought so myself too but I've got Enterprise Manager installed but on the local SQL installation that VEEAM B&R uses I see no database called VeeamBackupReporting database so I was thinking perhaps v4.x used this database but v5.x doesn't? I found this preparing our upgrade to v6.0, just want to cleanup before diving into that.
