Backup to QNAP and have installed VBR in private cloud

is it possible backup servers to QNAP and have install VBR somewhere in private cloud?
If yes,i s there any architecture picture or settings how we cand do that?

Hi,

sure you technically can land backups to a NAS as explained in the article. As veeam is wide open in terms of supported targets there is no problem to do so. Even if I would not recommend using SMB shares to land backups on as the protocol implementation and limitations sometimes are not perfect for being a target for backups. But that is up to you to decide.
Also the picture in the article shows how to land the backup data on the same storage where the sources vms are stored which for sure is not a good idea at all.
I’m not aware of a deformed guide on our side but it will technically work as mentioned above.
