When exactly can Veeam Backup Temporary Snapshot be deleted ?

So I have some VM has Veeam Backup Temporary Snapshot stuck for a long time and some VM has multiple of this snapshot.

Do I have to wait until there's really no backup job running at all or I can delete those snapshots when there's no backup job for those VM running?

You can always delete those snapshots. If a job is in progress, it would fail the job.

Veeam has a Snapshot hunter built in into the product and usually should spot those Snapshots and remove them.
If you have multiple issues over time, I would let support have a look and see why they remain on the system.

Was it just from a VM that you no longer process with Veeam (and so we do not know anymore about this VM/Snapshot)?

Those are all the VMs that still backup by VEEAM and the backup job always successful just that the snapshot still there for some VM.

I would remove it (over the Vcenter UI) and check in some days if there are still left overs again.
=> Contact Veeam support then.

If you need a monitoring tool, install a windows machine temporarly and use Veeam ONE 30 days trial. It has a montioring tool for Snapshots lifetimes in it.
