We are making sure that only bare minimum of users have access to our portal, removing redandant users I came across this system account which is added by default. I wonder if it's OK to remove it or it's necessary to keep it with Portal Admin role:

hmm I don't have that SYSTEM account in my list, but even if you remove it, LOCAL SYSTEM can always get access to anything. So it's not adding any security if you remove it.
