Modern Auth: Fails to connect to EWS

Hi

I simply cannot figure out what's missing.
after disabling basic auth. and moving to modern auth I am seeing errors connecting to EWS.



All roles/permissions should be in place.



Anyone able to give me a clue?

Could it be that you are missing EWS.AccessAsUser.All. It is needed for Restore operations (as noted here: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... tml?ver=60)

@mike - I have that already.. under office 365 exchange online.. as a delegated permission.

I wonder... I cannot find this permission:



it says it's only required if adding an org in Germany (or rather on a german tenant-server) which I am.

I went through all settings here:

and only thing that is missing is the full_access_as_user

Correct, you should not need that permission as it is specific to german cloud which is being deprecated. (And does not accept any new tenants anymore).

I would suggest you open a support case so our engineers can look in the logs what exact permission is missing
