Veeam Community Edition 12 - Direct object storage Backup

I have a question from a small customer (2vms) who wants to know if the new v12 Community Edition will support Direct Backup to Object Storage or if this is a licensed featured in enterprise?

It is a ENT / ENT+ / VUL feature.
Community Edition won't be able to use Object Storage for backups.
Restore from Object Storage still works as always.

Just to note: You are not allowed by our EULA to provide any services (design, implementation, troubleshooting, consulting, ...) to your customer with the community edition.

This was actually what I was "hoping" for. If every whistle was included in the Community Edition it would be hard to maintain the customer for consulting. And not allowed either as you state.

Maybe you can use your rental license for this customer, if you are the one who manages the environment.
It can be more cost effective for the customer to use 2 rental keys instead of a 5er VUL license.
