vONE for VeeamBackup M365

I just read here: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/one/d ... ml?ver=120, that vONE can monitor VeeamBackup for M365 only starting from version v7? As far as I know, there is no v7 available yet How about compatiblity for current v6 version of VeeamBackup for M365?

Hello Sandsturm,
That is correct, as soon as VB3645 v7 gets released. You can add it to your Veeam ONE for free, without any problem.

We could not keep v6 compatibility, as it didn't had the needed API methods we required for real-time monitoring, and restore points collection.

Thanks for this superfast reply. Okay, then I'll wait for V7 release, hope this will not take too long as we do not have a monitoring for our VBO environment currently.

Just upgraded Veeam for M365 to v7 and tried to add to VeeamONE12.
Getting: failed to connect to ... "veeam backup for microsoft 365 server license type is not compatible with veeam one license type"
Using port 4443, port open on M365 server.
We're licenced for:
Veeam Availability Suite Enterprise Plus
Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365
Both work ok otherwise.
didn't go the support case route yet. Any idea?

Hello,
That is simple you need to download a new key for your Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 server, from your portal. It should look like this:


Once your VB365 server has that key, try to add it to VONE v12 again.

Worked a treat.
The licence looks unchanged on the website but when downloaded and installed over the one here, it indeed showed as M365Suite instead of subscription.
I was able to add it into VeeamOne now.
