Notificaton about Health Check Warnings

Post by agrob »

Good Day

Not sure if i missed something. As we had some troubles in the past with some corrupt Restore Points in the Azure Blob Repo, i configured the Health Check on each Backup Policy.
In the Configuration under Settings > Email > Notify me immediately about: -> Info, Warning, Error are all selected.

This works well for the Backup Policies itself. But i don't get any Email Notification about the Health Check (not when it has Warnings or when it is successfull). As the Health check is as separate "Job/Type" visable in the Session Log, i would have expected to get notification as well. Are there any addional setting needed which i missed?
It would be important to get those notifications as well so that i dont have to login to the appliance and check it manually...

Thanks

Hi,

Those notifications only append to the policy schedule but not to health check settings. We'll look into including this in a future version but for now, you could use the REST API to gather the session log data in an email.

Hi Nils

Thanks for your reply and the provided information. I'm not so familiar with Rest API at the moment. Do you have any example script how to do this? ;)

Thanks
