How to remove the replica VM display on the Veeam console
Hi Team,
I have a question about a case where the Source VM and Replica VM were deleted while performing a failback.
In our user environment, during failback, we deleted Source VM and Replica VM from vSphere Client.
In the Veeam console, the replica VM exists in Replicas > Active, but the Status is "Failback".
I can press Undo Failback and Commit Failback buttons, but of course they will fail because there is no replica VM.
Since the source and replica VMs are no longer in the vSphere environment, I want to remove the replica VM from the Veeam console.
This event is easy to reproduce.
Wait until you are able to press the Undo Failback or Commit Failback button.
Then, simply delete the source and replica VMs from the vSphere Web Client.
In this case, do I need to directly delete the SQL Server record where the configuration information is stored?
Kind Regards,
Asahi,

Hi Cheers!
Thank you for quick response!!
OK, However, the Veeam Support Portal seems to be under maintenance since a while ago.
I'll ask the support team when the maintenance is over.

Support portal should work just fine.
Try opening a case via https://my.veeam.com/#/open-case/step-1

On a side note, can you please confirm that Force Undo checkbox is used when you try to Undo Failover operation?
It should clear replica just fine, even if source and target VMs are not present. You can then use "Remove from Configuration" button to completely forget about it's existance...

Hi Egor,
Thank you for reply.
No, unfortunately, I can't use "Force Undo Failover" because the status is currently "Failback" on Veeam Console.

Re: How to remove the replica VM display on the Veeam console
Hi.
Case with manual removal of machines involved in active replication failover\failback is still considered unsupported and thus requires a careful cleanup within product database.
Veeam Support will be glad to help.
/Thanks!
