Change management server of Veeam Backup for AWS instance

Hello,

we want to change the management server of a running and configured Veeam Backup for AWS instance without loosing the configuration or any data.

How does it work? When connecting to the instance via the new server the message "The selected backup appilance is already managed by a different backup server" shows up. I can continue, does that replace the existing connection or do I have to remove it first?

Hi,

If you switch the VBR server, all the relevant data will be synced from the VB for AWS appliance into the VBR database (the new management server).
