Hi Guys,
Here's the situation.
We have Windows Machines(Server 2019) with 2 disks (Drive C: 200Gb and Drive D: 20Tb) running on the ESXi server(7.0 U3). I need the copy of data on Drive:D (20Tb) to be available on our Veeam Cloud Connect and then offloaded to Quantum Stornext. How do I achieve this?
So should I first take a full backup of the VM onsite and then run a copy job to copy the backup to our Veeam Cloud-connect? and then somehow isolate the Drive:D (20Tb)? is this possible?
or
Is it better to run a rsync job directly to StorNext?
please advise the best solution, thanks

Re: How to extract/separate data on a particular disk from VBK file
Hello Lohith
Why not writing the entire Server to Quantum Stornext? It just 1% more data if you also copy the C drive.
Writing the backup to Cloud Connect won't be an issue.
But you cannot do a backup copy job of this data to the Quantum Stornext appliance. On Cloud Connect side, you can only create copies to object storage with a SOBR.
Best,
Fabian
