Object store with http target

Post by davegold »

I run minio at home, and I'm getting an revocation error when I try to add it as object store.

Is there an option to use http instead of https?

Thanks,

Dave

Hello,
I would go with HTTPS and ignore the revocation error.

If there is no button for it, then the ObjectStorageCRLCheckMode registry key should help

Code: Select all

ObjectStorageCRLCheckMode
Type: REG_DWORD
Default value: 1
Description: this key controls SSL certificate checks. It has four different modes :
0 - all issues with certificates will abort the job
1 - default; OfflineRevocation status is ignored, all other errors = failure
2 - ignore OfflineRevocation and WarningRevocationStatusUnknown errors
3 - ignore all above + PartialChain error.
There is also the SOBRArchiveS3DisableTLS registry key, which would allow to switch to HTTP. Just set it to 1.

All keys in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Backup and Replication\

Best regards,
Hannes
