Best practices for size Proxy and Repo.

Post by SerSunal »

I make the following query. A Veeam server has 16 CPU cores and 32GB RAM. The same server acts as a repository Porxy through a drive mapped by NFS from a storage. Could someone recommend me what would be the best configuration in terms of concurrent tasks from both Porxy and the repository.
Thank you so much.

Hello,

I suggest reviewing this page of our user guide. The main point is that the server must be able to process the cumulative number of tasks specified for both proxy and repository roles.

Thanks!

You can also use this page for reference: https://calculator.veeam.com/vbr/ and this workload calculator as well: https://vse.veeambp.com/#/
Hope this helps.
