CPU stuck at 100% when creating synthetic full backup

Post by yathus »

Hello,

My Veeam Server V11 (latest release) hangs "randomly" when creating synthetic full backup at 25%.

CPU go to 100% and Veeam VM froze.

I had the problem at the end of January and it is happening again.

I found info in a log about error, look like SQL Server is "down".

Support Case is 06041314

Thanks

Hello, I see you literally just opened a support case. Please, give our support engineers to review the logs and respond. We won't be able to troubleshoot this over forum posts anyway, as the issue looks to be specific to your environment. Thanks!

Support resolve my case, he told me to put 2 go of RAM for 1 vCore so i just change VM configuration from from 6 vCPU / 8Go to 8 vCPU / 16Go.

And it worked :) creating syntethic full is OK now !

Sorry for the quick post here too.

Right, 8GB is significantly below the official system requirements if you run all your Veeam components on the same machine.
