Hi Team,
After installing a new HPE MSL tape library of 80 slots, and after perform a library inventory, all cartriges are send to Free pool in WORM state.
Why are they in WORM state?. Some way to convert them in standard tapes?.
Case # 06048228
Thanks.
Jose Miguel.

Is it possible that your tape have worm labels on it? Can you post an example name/label?

That looks OK to me, but it was worth a guess. The library gets the tape type from the labels and if those were wrong, you could end up in your situation.
As Veeam gets the tape information form the library, you could also open a case with HPE and let them check the library itself.
