Veeam Backup Essentials Enterprise (socket licensing)

Post by apnaf »

Hello All

I have a customer that have 2x Veeam Backup Essentials (per socket) licenses (4x CPUs).
Now they want to backup a physical windows machine.
As far as I know Veeam Backup Essentials per socket includes one instance per socket (max 6 instances) to backup (for instance) physical servers.
Is this correct? If so can they manage the physical machine in Veeam console?

Thanks in advance
