Certificate is an Lets encrypt one.

Now certificate check is not possible within job. But even when diabling SSL in global settings an enabling again, I get an certificate check window, which is running long------------long. Sometime Console dies, somtime a route cannont be saved.

Hello Maygyver

Your customers case is missing a log package. That's the first thing our support engineer will ask for.
Can you please ask your customer to provide the log files?
https://www.veeam.com/kb1832

Let's encrypt certs should be trusted by the windows machine where the backup server is installed.
Make sure you, that the windows machine trusts the most recent Let's Encrypt root and immediate certificates:

Thank you,

Hi,
we will add logs. Win 2019 Server is fully patched, on 22.04.2023 certificate at smtp proxy got renewed. Now certificate check takes ages and is not working. Before with Veeam 11 on 2012 no problems last years. Seems to be a V12 problem.

Hi Nestea

From the case notes of May his case I can see that it could be a known issue with SMTP and certificates.
I recommend to open your own support case to check why you see those errors on your customers backup servers. The logs will help us to determine if you are facing the same issue and will be really helpful to solve the issue.

It's a well known problem, see veeam-backup-replication-f2/configurati ... 76899.html.
Unfortunately it seems there is no solution yet, hopefully the next V12 update will fix it......whenever it will happen.
