Veeam agent & Source deduplication

Hi teams,

Environnement :

• Windows workstations whit Veeam agent

• Windows Veeam Gateway server
  Data Domain as repo

I would like to know if there are Source deduplication , since veeam agent to Data Domain via the gateway OR only since Gateway server to Data Domain

Can you confirm this ? Is important because network is only on 1Gbs

Hi Seb, DDboost integration with the storage requires a Veeam data mover that is running on a gateway server, so source data deduplication occurs in that part of communication only.
