Migrating from MailStore

Post by HeebyGeeby »

I'm evaluating Veeam Backup for MS 365 as a replacement for MailStore which only archives email accounts.
Within MailStore I have around 25 archives of 10 past and 15 present users of which only the present users have corresponding MS 365 user accounts.
I can export from MailStore to pst or restore to M 365.
Is there a way of me archiving the 10 .pst mailboxes as a one off action without consuming ten Veeam licenses?

Hi Geoff and welcome to our forums!

VB365 is available in a Community Edition which is a free software version that allows you to protect up to 10 user accounts. Backed up mailboxes can be exported to PST as described here: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... tml?ver=70

Thanks!

Hi Polina and thank you.
What I want to do is end up with all my email archives in one place in Explorer for Exchange so if I'm searching for a particular thing I don't have to mount .pst's.
Can I somehow add .pst's to my archive?
