Post by kleos45 »

Hello,

Is-it possible to find a specific event in the backup log.

I'm looking to trap "the releasing guest event"

Thank you.

Hello,

I notice that "the releasing guest event", is only on vss mode backup.

I would like to implement fast backup, like, stop software, Vmware Snapshot, and restart application.
I'm not interersted on the compleate backup for restarting application.

Where, or how can I found the end of the Vmware Snapshoting.

Hello, there is no real need for such complexity. Instead, you can easily stop and restart software before and after snapshot this with VMware prefreeze and postthaw scripts. Thanks!

Thank you for your answer.

You're right.

But this solution isn't good in my case.

I foud my solution, I use Vpower CLI to find the good statement, and it's good now.
