[Feature Request] - Use categories from Prism Central

Hi,

Do you have any information about integration with Prism Central ?

Most of AHV users are making transition to "Nutanix Disaster Recovery" (ex Leap) to have more flexibility with VM based policies and to run nearsync and metro replication if needed. It will be really usefull to be able to use "categories" set from Prism Central, like others admins are doing with vCenter tags.

I really hope this is in the roadmap. Thank you.

You may want to contribute to my PowerShell script at https://github.com/mcruise40/Veeam-NutanixAhv. It has not yet proven itself for all scenarios, but it is already possible to assign VMs to jobs according to Prism Central categories.

I wanted to let you all know that we've released a private beta that both integrates with Prism Central in a manner virtually identical to our current vCenter implementation as well as adding support for backup per Prism Central category. If you're interested in testing please contact your Veeam SE who can set up access to the beta bits. We're of course very interested in your feedback as well!
