Hi,
I have configure an File to tape job (Incremental Backup) to take backup files from One Directory on my Disk. Till 15 days it took incremental backup to tape and on 16th days it is taking Full backup ( All files of the Directory). As there are huge data in the directory it is not possible to take backup on Tape (both from the media wise and time wise)
So is it possible to take only incremental backup on tape for ever ?

Re: Files to Tape Incremental forever.
Hello Navneet99
For File to Tape Jobs one Full backup per month is strongly recommended. You could go with a monthly full backup and 29 incremental. --> https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120
If the throughput is not what you have expected, check the right sizing of all involved components. Maybe also a newer LTO drive is required for better Tape performance and to be able to store your backup size on that.
Thanks,
Fabian
