Can I turn on Application awareness for every backup job?

Hi All,

So I have several AD domain controller VMs on different backup job and just wonder if I can turn on Application awareness for every backup job?

or should I just create a new backup job specifically for AD domain controller VM?

Is the same domain controller in multiple jobs? I don't expect issues with multiple jobs and application aware processing for the same domain controller.
May I ask why do you use multiple jobs? A single job for all VMs is normally sufficient.
But it depends on the amount of VMs to protect and specific requirements on retention or frequency of backup sessions for different VMs.

Hi Mildur,

We have multiple backup jobs as we would like to have the VMs backup to different repositories. Like some on cloud and some on tapes.

Why you dont ùse a CopyJob for that job? We also copy our backups to different locations with different retension policies.
